Conventional radio fingers or alarm bands often only work in combination with a stationary home emergency call device. They act as an extended arm of the home emergency call station. In an emergency, help is just a push of a button away. If necessary, the wearer simply presses the SOS button. The radio trigger transmits this to the home emergency call device, which in turn transmits it to an emergency call center. If the wearer is inside the house, the wireless finger can determine its position. However, if it is in the garden or anywhere else, this can become a danger.
